9 Square in the Air is a fun and addicting group game that combines volleyball with 9 square on the ground. Each player must defend their square, and they only get one hit to get the ball out of their square and into another square. It’s the perfect game for church youth groups, camps, schools, or any other group looking for a fun game!
Once you learn the process, setup only takes about 15 minutes with 2-3 people. Takedown also takes about 15 minutes. Once you get the hang of it, set up can be done in 6 minutes or less! The Connector Kit takes a little bit more time to set up. Detailed setup instructions come with the game.
When set up both the Deluxe Game and the Connector Kit are 18 x 18 feet. We recommend having at least a 25 x 25 foot level area to play, and high ceilings (at least 12 feet) if playing indoors.
The Deluxe Game comes with everything you need: Sport-grade PVC, Height Adjustable Legs, metal connectors, a push button locking system, carrying bags, game ball and instructions.
The Connector Kit comes with the same connectors, but does not include PVC or bags. Instead of the push buttons, it uses thumb screws to lock together. It does come with instructions on how much PVC to purchase and what lengths to cut the pipe.
Are you handy and would prefer to buy the PVC yourself? If so, then consider the Connector Kit. If not, order the Deluxe Game.
The game breaks down for storage very well. The Deluxe Game is stored in 3 bags.
Connector Bag: 24 x 12 x 12 inches
Leg Bag: 8 x 8 x 48 inches
Crossbar Bag: 8 inches x 8 inches x 6 feet

No. 9 Square in the Air is protected by two issued United States Patents. Building your own version of the game actually violates the patents. We’ve talked to people who have tried to make their own, and then bought the real thing, because their version falls apart and is dangerous. Save yourself time and money in the long run. Our Connector Kit is the DIY version that allows you to save a little cash and put some sweat equity into your game set.
